NexisUni
- Select "Business" under topics
- In the Company Dossier box, select "Create a Company List" tab in the middle
- You can search by any of the criteria - city, NAICS, SIC, company type, etc. Additional criteria can be added by choosing "Business Description" from the drop-down menu.
Private companies in Canada
Please note that private company data is very limited. Most comes from directories or from web crawling.

- Select "Business" under topics

- Under company type, select "All Private" or check additional private company options in the drop-down menu
- Add additional criteria (location, industry, etc) as preferred.
Start-Ups

Register with your Rotman or U of T e-mail address to search for start-up companies. Choose "Advanced Filters" next to the search bar at the top. Click on "Company Attributes" in the right sidebar and it will give you the option to search by location or zip code.
