Nielsen Consumer Panel Data and Retail Scanner Data

For tenure and tenure track faculty; PhD and Post-Doc students can register for this database if a registered faculty member is listed as an advisor.

Two datasets are available: Consumer Panel Data, and Retail Scanner Data. Information is available about the two datasets here. 

Available to all U of T tenure and tenure track faculty. This excludes lecturers and visiting professors.

Eligible faculty cannot use the data for teaching purposes. 

Eligible users will be asked to comply with specific criteria and requirements in order to access and use the Nielsen data.Please read the policy carefully as the access requirements and data usage are unique. Read the subscription process information here, as the Kilts Center reviews each registration for eligibility, funding sources, and that projects meet required criteria.
