Our goal
The Rotman School is reshaping business education, becoming internationally recognized for advancing the way business schools teach and how business leaders build solutions.
We plan to open our doors to innovation even wider.
By being at the vanguard of research, teaching, and professional practice our goal is to effect meaningful change in the marketplace through smarter decision making and stronger leadership.
To meet our goal, the Rotman School is raising $200 million. Thanks to the thousands of donors who support our cause, we are investing in:
- More Thinkers: A new building currently under construction will double the size of our home at 105 St. George Street, allowing us to expand our community of scholars. The resulting brain gain will lead to new thinking and new ideas — fuel for economic growth.
- New Thinking: We are attracting more of the best scholars and ramping up our teaching, research, and outreach activities. This way, students will continue to be taught by the best minds. Policymakers will continue to be able to turn to our thought-leaders to inform public decision making with new, better ideas.
- Future Thinkers: In the next few years, we will populate our halls with more students through planned enrolment increases. We are therefore creating more scholarships and other forms of aid to attract top scholars and support a larger critical mass of tomorrow’s leading thinkers.
Investing in more thinkers, new thinking, and future thinkers will deliver economic growth and enhanced standard of living for a greater number of people here at home and around the world. That’s our destination. We invite you to become part of this journey and help us to complete the thought.
