Covid 19 Updates for Students

What can students expect at Rotman during COVID-19?

Current Situation

Fall term 2020:

The Rotman School began the fall 2020 term offering graduate and undergraduate teaching primarily through remote delivery and had begun gradually incorporating in-person elements to the student experience, as public health guidelines allowed at that time.

On Friday, October 9, the Province of Ontario announced the implementation of additional public health measures in certain regions, including Toronto, to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in these communities.

In response to this announcement, Rotman decided to immediately restrict any in-person activities that were taking place. Any undergraduate and graduate courses that had any in-person delivery have switched to online-only delivery. We are expecting that this switch will be for the remainder of the fall term.

Winter term 2020:

We are now planning for the winter term, beginning in January 2021.  We hope that we might once again be able to gradually incorporate in-person elements to the student experience, if public health guidelines allow. We are closely monitoring the situation. Of course, if we need to continue offer online-only course delivery at Rotman then we will be prepared for that.
