May 19, 2020

Toronto – Five new principals have started work with the Impact Consulting Group at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Providing high value consulting work to its clients has been at the heart of the student-run consultancy since it was established in 1972.

Each year, a new team of Rotman MBA students is selected to lead the organization. The new principals for this year include Colin Gaffney, Kavya Pai, Luis Ramirez, Jason McDonell, and Zhenchao Qian from the Rotman Full Time MBA’21 class.  Collectively, the team has over 25 years of industry experience in insurance, retail, CPG, financial services, capital markets, technology, manufacturing, and mining. Having worked at companies such as AON, EY, UBS, Chubb, and IDFC First Bank, they possess a diverse set of expertise in risk analysis, financial modeling, sales, enterprise risk management, entrepreneurship, and stakeholder management. The team leverages their professional experience and MBA knowledge to help clients engage in corporate planning and development, performance improvement, marketing strategy, and digital transformation.

"Impact provided valuable business analysis and financial modelling services. Their insights allowed us to identify areas of opportunity and the team’s diligence and positive attitude were second to none. I would recommend them to any firm looking for actionable solutions to challenging business problems,” says Tom Sullivan, President and CEO, Bruce Telecom.
