University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management Announces New Partnership with ICON Talent Partners.

February 25, 2021

Toronto – A new partnership between the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and ICON Talent Partners (ICON) aims to promote representation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) candidates in the Canadian business community, as well as in the School’s Full-Time MBA program.

An ICON scholarship for BIPOC Full-Time MBA students at the Rotman School will provide additional resources for students to participate in the talent development programs by ICON, including conferences and workshops. Additionally, Rotman students will have networking opportunities with other BIPOC students and young professionals through the ICON network.

ICON will also share with candidates in its network the benefits and opportunities provided by enrolling in a Rotman School program.

This Saturday, Marilyn and Derrick Raphael, Co-Founders of ICON Talent Partners, will deliver remarks at the inaugural Future Black Business Leaders Conference, hosted by the Rotman Full-Time MBA Recruitment and Admissions team, in partnership with the Rotman African Caribbean Business Club (RACBC), a student club. The goal of the event is to attract Black young professionals to management education and to promote the range of graduate programs the School has available. Registration is available for this online conference at www.eventbrite.ca/e/future-black-business-leaders-tickets-137994275593.
