Expert in Leadership and Equity Appointed as an Executive-in-Residence at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

Toronto – An executive who has worked across sectors to redefine leadership and drive equity has been appointed as an executive-in-residence at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

Naki Osutei is currently Vice President, CPB Strategy, Colleague Experience and ESG at TD Bank. Prior to coming to TD, she worked in Executive Talent Management at CIBC supporting the development of executives and “near-executives” while also working to diversify the executive pipeline. She was a human resource director for, and led the corporate diversity and legacy strategies for the TORONTO2015 Pan Am/ Parapan Am Games; and developed several city-building projects and leadership development programs at CivicAction, including co-creating DiverseCity Fellows, North America’s first “civic MBA.” She is also an avid volunteer and currently serves on the board of governors for the University of Guelph and board of directors for Visions of Science Network for Learning.

At the Rotman School Osutei is a speaker in the Leading Social Innovation and Impact in the C-Suite elective courses in the MBA program as well as the Leading Across Differences elective in the Rotman Commerce program. She is also part of the Speaker Spotlight in the Leading Social Justice Fellowship led by Rotman Professor Nouman Ashraf at the University’s School of Cities.
