Thinking about Thinking I, II, III

Rotman Management’s ‘Thinking about Thinking’ series explores the importance of metacognition, providing readers with the very latest tools and methods to help them develop into world-class thinkers. This bundle will serve as a starting point for a new way to think about solving problems, big and small.

No matter what our circumstances or goals, what problems we face or where we are situated, one simple truth applies: we will be better off if our thinking is skilled. Unfortunately, serious thinking about thinking is rare. When was the last time you asked yourself where your thinking comes from, and how much of it is good quality? If we are to maximize the quality of our thinking, we must make learning about thinking a priority. This bundle of three issues of Rotman Management on the theme of 'Thinking about Thinking' is a great place to start. As renowned thinker and cover subject Albert Einstein once said, “We cannot solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."
