Your leading edge

The program will transform your strategic and operational capabilities and provide you with the leadership edge that’s required in the new global economy. Developed in partnership with an executive leadership expert, the leadership development program uses a comprehensive leadership model to help you clarify your ambitions and accelerate your professional growth.

Personal leadership development plan

Delve further into your own capabilities through a highly personalized leadership program that combines group work with deep self-development insights and strategic know-how. Each EMBA student is encouraged to create a personal leadership development plan and follow it throughout the program in a process of learning, applying and reflecting. How you define your goals and your path to achieving them are key factors in your success.

Leadership retreat

During the leadership retreat, participants are given an opportunity to see themselves and their world through new lenses, recognizing that complexity, ambiguity and anxiety are opportunities for innovation, reinvention and renewal.

An experiential off-site workshop provides a powerful learning environment to allow you to gain insight into your patterns of behaviour and current ways of being, and take a courageous step toward achieving personal and professional transformation.

“It’s a privilege to have this time to self-reflect, to consider what you really want and what drives you. The experience is made more profound by being offsite in an atmosphere of trust and sharing.”

— Rotman student, about the leadership retreat
