Why did you decide to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting program?
Currently working at KPMG as a staff accountant, I believe the 12-week GDipPA program at Rotman would accelerate my path towards pursuing my CPA and hopefully allow me to write my exam next year, in September 2020!
What are your main reasons for choosing Rotman?
Having grown up in Montreal, I have always looked forward to explore my career options and build experience in a different city. I was positive that my experience at Rotman would complement and add value to my accounting journey at McGill, with its great reputation and top-notch faculty.
What are you looking forward to most in the program?
I am hoping to acquire the right skills and set of tools needed besides the hands-on experience that I am currently gaining at work, such as case-writing and presentation skills, in order to become a more well-rounded professional. I am also looking forward to making new friendships with students from across Canada and diversifying my professional network.
The Rotman Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA) is a CPA Accredited 12-week summer program that helps prepare you for the Common Final Examination (CFE) and satisfies the four modules of the CPA PEP.
