Why did you decide to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting program?

Having recently graduated this past spring and soon to be starting full-time in October I decided to study the GDipPA as a way to fast track the CPA modules and develop my skills in order to give myself the best chance to succeed in pursuit of my CPA. Coming from Vancouver, I had reservations about traveling all the way to Toronto to complete my modules. However, after meeting students and CPA candidates who have gone through GDipPA and shared with me their positive experiences I knew the GDipPA was right for me. The GDipPA provides a strong, collaborative, working environment to hone in the skills both technically and professionally to be successful through CPA.

What are your main reasons for choosing Rotman?

Rotman was the only school I considered based on the feedback from students from prior years, the fast track ability to complete Core 1, Core 2, and the Audit and Tax electives in a span of three months prior to working full-time, and the outstanding international reputation.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

I am most looking forward to be able to put together the individual pieces of what I learned during my undergraduate degree and build my skills in case writing.

The Rotman Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA) is a CPA Accredited 12-week summer program that helps prepare you for the Common Final Examination (CFE) and satisfies the four modules of the CPA PEP.
