Why did you decide to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting program?

The GDipPA program was attractive to me due to the consolidated nature of the learning, and the opportunity to meet and work with like-minded people from multiple universities. I also believed that obtaining my diploma would set me up for success in entering my full-time audit job in the fall, having given me a wide variety of skills and knowledge to apply to real life situations.

What are your main reasons for choosing Rotman?

The Rotman School has a very comprehensive GDipPA program with top resources and extremely successful graduates. I have also had the opportunity to be taught by many of the amazing GDipPA faculty in my undergraduate degree, which excited me about the opportunity to be taught by them in a more case-focused environment, and in their fields of expertise.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

I am most looking forward to the case competition component of the program, as I believe it is always challenging and exciting to formulate cases with new people in a tightly time constrained situation. I am also looking forward to the student socials of course, with each section having a nominated social representative.

The Rotman Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA) is a CPA Accredited 12-week summer program that helps prepare you for the Common Final Examination (CFE) and satisfies the four modules of the CPA PEP.
