Hello Oriana! Thank you for meeting with us. It’s great to be able to introduce you to the next class starting in September, and to those people you’ll speak to soon about being part of a future class.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Absolutely! I am very happy to meet all our students who will be starting classes this coming Fall and to help others learn how MFRM could be the fit for them.

I have recently joined the University of Toronto and am very excited to start this new role at Rotman. I have worked several years in international student recruitment and market development, and my experience has given me the opportunity to interact with many students around the world and help them come and study in Canada.

What do you find exciting in your new role as the Assistant Director, Recruitment and Admissions for the MFRM program?

I think that the MFRM is a very unique program that attracts a particular niche of students. Our program has been strategically designed to provide our students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they need to succeed in this fantastic industry of risk management. I am very excited to be part of their journey!

To get to know me better, here are some facts about me:

  1. I am originally from Colombia and speak both English and Spanish
  2. I love traveling and have visited more than 25 countries – still many more places to visit!
  3. Reading is one of my passions

What would you say to someone interested in learning more about the program?

Take a look at our MFRM website, read our course brochure, and get in touch!

Over the next few months we’ll start to add information about events you’ll be able to attend to speak to me, or other members of the team. We’ll have events at the School, along with webinars for those who don’t live near Toronto. If you’re signed up to receive program updates you’ll get information when it becomes available.

We’ll also be attending events across Canada, and elsewhere – hopefully I’ll be able to add a few more countries to my list!
