Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?

I decided to join the MMA program to pivot my passion for analytics into a career. I felt that the MMA program offered a balance of technical and managerial education necessary for a path in the business and tech world.

Top Reason(s) for choosing Rotman:

Of course, Rotman possesses a world-class reputation and a strong community of alumni. However, I felt that Rotman had a strong emphasis on combining advanced analytical skills in combination with business education, whereas other analytics programs only focused on building technical skills.

What are you looking forward to the most in the program?

I'm looking forward to building my programming skills! I'm hoping to learn more about coding so I can continue to build and improve my own personal analytics projects.

What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?

I expect to gain a better understanding of the needs and applications of analytics in industry. “Analytics” has been a major buzzword in recent years and I’m learning more about the potential of this field every day.
