Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?
Before the Master of Management Analytics (MMA) program, I was completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in the Biomedical Discovery & Commercialization program, along with a minor in statistics at McMaster University. This degree provided me with an incredible toolkit of quantitative and qualitative skills, however, I am missing sophisticated technical skills. The MMA program was a perfect choice, as the skills you are learning in class are identical to what companies are searching for! I have always loved science and I hope to use these newfound technical skills to advance my career in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry and change people's lives for the better.

What are you looking forward to the most in the program?
The incredible connections I will make in this program! Rotman has an incredible alumni and employer network, however, I am more excited about the connections I will make in my class. The program recruits some of the best and brightest students from around the globe—our cohort consists of just over 60 students, and with just over a 5% acceptance rate. These students are going to be incredibly high-up executives in companies that are going to change the world. When you join the program, make sure you introduce yourself and get to know every student you meet!
What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?
In the next 11 months, I hope to gain a strong foundation in data science and analytics upon which I can kickstart my career! I plan to do this while also building an incredible network of Rotman alumni, professors, and peers upon whom I can reach out for advice, guidance, and perhaps even a job in the future.
