Quick info

  • MMA Class of 2022
  • Previous education:
    • B.Eng., Mechatronics Engineering Co-op, McMaster University, 2021

Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?

During my 16-month co-op at a manufacturing company, I worked closely with a business analyst and I found his role and responsibilities very interesting. Plus, I always wanted to learn about the big picture and cultivate my analytical mindset. Therefore, I chose the MMA, which has the perfect combination of business and technical elements.

Top reason(s) for choosing Rotman:

I had many friends who went to Rotman and they really enjoyed their time. I want to learn from the best in Canada, and Rotman has many great professors. More important, I really like the structure of the MMA program. It allows me to challenge myself and helps me master multidisciplinary skills.

What are you looking forward to the most in the program?

I really look forward to the practicum project in which I can apply the skills learned in the program to create value for a company. I am interested in the field of healthcare and I cannot wait to see the applications of analytics in that industry.

What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?

I expect I will build my resilience and improve my critical thinking. I also expect I will build both my business and technical acumen. Last but not least, I expect I will enjoy many more years of friendship.
