Why did you decide to study the MFin program?

I decided to apply to the program because I wanted to hone my financial skills and create some leverage to advance my career.

What was your main reason for choosing Rotman?

The reasons why I chose Rotman were the quality of the faculty members, the curriculum and the school reputation.

What was the highlight of the Rotman experience?

The highlights of my Rotman Experience were actually the people who I met along the way. It was very refreshing to meet ambitious people who share the same passion with me.

Did Rotman and the MFin program meet your expectations?

Definitely. The program helped me to acquire the knowledge to build the confidence to talk to anyone in the finance industry.

What would you say to someone considering choosing the MFin?

Completing the program is actually a team effort. You won’t be able to succeed in the program if you don’t have the support of your family, friends and co-workers. Before applying to the program I would suggest you talk to the people around you to make sure they understand the commitment it requires.

What are your future plans?

My time at Rotman helped me to realize that I love interacting with people and listening to their experiences. My current plan is to transition to a client facing role, which is something I never fathomed until I started this program.
