Colleen is the former Chief Client Officer at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. She is a respected board advisor and business executive with senior leadership experience in the legal, financial services and technology sectors. One of the original founders of The Judy Project, Colleen currently serves as its Business Director.

Colleen Moorehead is a respected board advisor and business executive with senior leadership experience in the legal, financial services and technology sectors.

As the former Chief Client Officer and Special Advisor to Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, a leading Canadian business law firm, Colleen was instrumental in creating a new operating framework for the firm with a laser focus on client development and retention.

While she began her career at Merrill Lynch and CIBC, Colleen was co-founder of E*TRADE Canada before joining Osler. Her passion has always been firmly rooted in entrepreneurship and she has a proven track record for building successful companies and valuable brands.

Colleen has a deep understanding of business development strategy in the services sector. She works closely with incubators and investors that support early-stage companies developing technology solutions to solve problems for today and in the future. She is currently on the Board of Directors for Dye & Durham (DND-T), and the Board of Advisors for iNovia and NovaCap Financial Services. Past Board work includes Solium (SUM-T), Merrco Payments Inc., Next Canada and OneEleven.

As a well-known trailblazer and mobilizer, Colleen’s efforts to support, mentor and advance women throughout her 30-year career have contributed to meaningful organizational changes for Canadian companies and women in business.

Colleen is also the co-founder and business director of the Judy Project at the University of Toronto’s Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. This leadership forum is designed to empower and prepare women to take on executive leadership positions. Since its launch in 2003, the Judy Project has supported the ascent of more than 400 women into C-suite positions.

Colleen is the editor of the best-selling leadership book The Collective Wisdom of High-Performing Women: Leadership Lessons from the Judy Project, featuring personal stories from 70 Canadian women business leaders and highlights their perspectives on the characteristics of great leaders.

Over the course of her career, Colleen has been recognized and honoured with several awards including the Women of Distinction Award for 2020 and 2021 by YWCA Toronto, the 2021 Trailblazer Award by the Women’s College Hospital Foundation, 2015 Catalyst Canada Honours Champion — Business Leader, and the Business Builder 2010 Award by the Canadian Marketing Hall of Legends.
