What surprised you most about your program experience?
What surprised me the most about the program was how quicky the time flew by. In the beginning, I didn’t really know what I was doing - everything was new and there was a big learning curve. But then things started to click, and just in time too! I took the midterm, and then the final exam, and then before I knew it, it was all over. Despite initially thinking that the 12 weeks would be slow moving, it turned out to have flown by incredibly quickly.
What part of the program did you find most challenging?
I found the first few weeks of the program to be the most challenging. There was a big learning curve because while I had done cases before, I didn’t fully grasp how to approach a case and I didn’t have the technical knowledge to perform well. That’s why the first few weeks were so challenging – I was introduced to so many new concepts that it was a bit overwhelming. However, after those first few weeks, things started to get repetitive, and it started to get easier.
What memory from Summer 2022 will you hold long after completing the program?
There were a lot of memorable moments created in and out of the classroom, but my favorite memories involved food, such as grabbing brunch & ice cream with the girls, as well as trying a gyro & chocolate baklava for the first time!
