To the graduating class of 2023, my sincere congratulations. This is a special moment in your journey through the Rotman School, and I hope you will take time to celebrate your achievements.
All of us at Rotman are proud of your accomplishments and inspired by your resilience, determination, courage and leadership. As Dean, I have witnessed so many remarkable stories of classmates, alumni, community leaders, faculty and staff coming together to support your journey. We join you in thanking your classmates, partners, family and friends who stood by you. This is their moment, too.
As you move forward in your career, be sure to follow your interests and passions, remembering that everyone’s journey will differ. Whether you pursue a career in private industry, the not-for-profit sector, public service, continue your academic journey or start your own venture, we know you will go on to achieve many great things while bettering the communities around you.
We are so excited to see what is next for you. Whatever path you take, your Rotman degree is a lifelong asset that you can draw upon to provide you with the knowledge, agility and confidence you need to open new doors and transform your future.
You are joining a new community—a network of over 18,000 alumni who live and work in more than 90 countries. I encourage you to stay engaged with your classmates and with Rotman—doing so enriches the Rotman community and our own network. We will be here to support you and cheer you on as you take this next step to make your mark on the world.
