December 13, 2021

Toronto – Two business leaders with a broad range of experience including entrepreneurship, consulting, investment banking and not-for-profit organizations have been appointed as executives-in-residence at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

Bo Pelech is currently an advisor to Mayor Wilson, a Toronto management consulting firm, after a successful career in investment banking and consulting. He holds a BA and an MBA from York University. At the Rotman School Pelech is a frequent guest lecturer in the Management Consulting MBA course and in two new experiential MBA courses; Growth Project Consulting and Sustainability. He also mentors and has worked to find career opportunities for MBA students.

An alumnus of the University of Toronto, John Visser, HBSc’83, MBA’86, has spent his career gaining experience in a variety of different areas within the business world. He managed brands for Procter & Gamble before moving to a finance-oriented role with the firm. He then directed a large pharmaceutical company’s marketing and external affairs efforts. Building on these roles, he leveraged his professional experience to co-found a successful digital research company. Currently he is volunteering with and sitting on the board of various not-for-profit organizations. At the Rotman School he is the chair of the advisory board for NeXus Consulting Group, a student-run sustainability and social-impact consulting firm. He is also an advisor and mentor to students participating in the Rotman OnBoard Fellowship Program, which matches MBA candidates with non-profit boards for eight-month fellowships.
