Rotman Master of Financial Risk Management Graduate Honoured with a Trading Risk Award

Toronto – A graduate of the Master of Financial Risk Management program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management received the Young ILS Underwriter of the Year award last week at the Trading Risk Award ceremony held in London.

Agnes Chang, MFRM’17 is Principal, Insurance-Linked Securities, Capital Markets with Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in Toronto. She was part of the inaugural class for the Rotman MFRM, which is designed to prepare students for careers in risk management. The unique curriculum combines coursework, an applied project with a company in the field, workshops on leadership and communications skills as well as a speaker series featuring practitioners.

Trading Risk, a UK-based publication for the insurance-linked securities industry, holds the annual awards to honour the outstanding contributions and achievements of organizations and individuals in the industry.
