Four Rotman School Alumni Named as Champions of Change by WCM.

Toronto – Four graduates of degree programs at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management are among the recipients of the 2023 Champions of Change Awards from WCM (Women in Capital Markets.)

The award winners will be honoured tomorrow evening in Toronto for their excellence in leadership and commitment to cultivating and advancing equity in the workplace.

The graduates, who are from the Rotman Commerce and Executive MBA programs, include:

  • Giorgia Anton, BCom’98, Managing Director and Head, Research, Global Markets, CIBC;
  • Charley Butler, EMBA’20, Chief Pension Officer, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan;
  • Michael Cherny, BCom’12, Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan; and
  • Victor Tung, EMBA’12, U.S. Chief Technology and Operations Officer and Chief Information and Operations Officer, BMO Capital Markets, BMO Financial Group.

WCM (Women in Capital Markets) works to accelerate equity, diversity and inclusion in the Canadian finance industry in partnership with major Canadian bank-owned dealers, independent and foreign dealers, asset managers, insurance firms, major pension plans, regulatory agencies, exchanges, and advisory firms.
