Rotman YouTube Channel Highlights People and Programs from University of Toronto's B-School
Toronto, March 14, 2012 – The University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management has launched a YouTube channel to highlight people and programs at one of the world's leading business schools.
"The videos provide another way for us to tell the Rotman story and to reach a wide global audience," says Pym Buitenhuis, Director of Marketing at the Rotman School. "From providing information on our programs to profiling recent guest speakers, the channel supplies a glimpse of life at the Rotman School."
A series of videos takes a look at the experience of studying at the Rotman School and includes an interview with Dean Roger Martin, a profile of Integrative Thinking and a look at the faculty at the Rotman School who bring the best in real-world experience and research excellence into the classroom.
Other videos include mini-lectures and presentations by some of the Rotman School faculty including:
- Vice Dean Jim Fisher on leadership;
- Prof. John Hull, Maple Financial Group Chair in Derivatives and Risk Management, on sub-prime mortgages;
- Adjunct Prof. Heather-Anne Irwin on how new securities are issued on capital markets;
- Prof. Tom McCurdy, Bonham Chair in International Finance, on the financial research and trading lab; and;
- Prof. Mihnea Moldoveanu, Associate Dean, Full Time MBA Program and Director, Desautels Centre for Integrative Thinking, on the Mental Habits of Successful Thinkers.
