Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?
After working for a few years after graduating, I've came to appreciate the foundational role data plays in the modern economy, and its transformative power. Despite completing online courses on statistics and modeling, I thought I'd benefit from a more structured and rigorous training in analytics. It would also send a strong signal about my commitment to this path. MMA's 11-month intensive Master program seemed to be the right choice.
Top Reason(s) for choosing Rotman:
I like cities. Rotman is a prestigious institution situated in the heart of Toronto, with a wide, global network of alumni. To me, there isn't much of a competition.
What are you looking forward to the most in the program?
Apart from the technical courses that will consolidate my statistical knowledge, the many industry nights, panels, competitions, and company events is what I look forward to the most. The more you explore and commit, the more you get out of the program.
What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?
An expanded network of connections across a number of industry that would hopefully serve me in both the short and long term. Armed with a solid analytical knowhow, I wish to enter a field/role where it could make the biggest impact.
