COVID-19 FAQs for applicants

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will update our communication and notifications as needed. You should continue to monitor your email and these FAQs regularly for any important updates.

Rotman has successfully transitioned to online delivery of classes, supplemented by distanced and safe in-person classes when necessary. We are following guidance from governmental health authorities and will return to regular in-person classes when the situation allows.

If you are thinking of applying

We are currently accepting applications for all working professional MBA programs to start in fall 2022. Here are some responses to questions you may have about starting next year.

The GMAT/GRE/IELTS/TOEFL is required for my application but the test centre is closed. How will this impact my application?

For EMBA, GEMBA and GEMBA-HLS candidates: I am required to take the Executive Diagnostic Test (EDT) as part of my application; can I attend tutorials and write the test online?

I've applied for M/E MBA, EMBA, GEMBA or GEMBA-HLS, but have lost my job. Can my application still be considered, or will I have to wait until I am employed again?

I heard that the University of Toronto is cancelling classes. Does this mean my application will be delayed?

How do I pay my deposit?

Will my offer of admission be affected by the current situation?

For programs with global modules, are there any changes to the schedule or module locations?

With visa application centres being shut down, it may take me longer to get my visa.

Will Pre-Programs in the fall be delayed or changed?
