Bio

Dr. Acorn is a member of the political science department at the University of Toronto, Scarborough. Her research focuses on international law and international relations and the governance of transnational corporations. Elizabeth is currently working on a book manuscript that examines international anti-corruption law and its implementation in Canada and other advanced industrial economies. She completed her PhD in Government at Cornell University and a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University. Prior to her doctoral studies, Elizabeth practiced law for several years in New York and Ontario, specializing in commercial litigation and internal investigations.
