Why did you decide to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting program?

I decided to study the Professional Diploma in Professional Accounting program because I believed that it would provide the most support and guidance that I’d need to successfully complete the CPA Program. Every case contains vastly unique issues and approaches to addressing the required fields, and the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting has been offering thorough insights into tips and tricks to identify and address the issues in depth, which I found it to be efficient and effective to complete the CPA modules successfully over the summer. I also appreciate the learning environment in a class setting, as I always tend to learn a lot from informal discussions among my peers as much as I do from the class materials.

What are your main reasons for choosing Rotman?

After completing undergraduate studies in Rotman Commerce, I decided to pursue my professional diploma in Rotman as well because of the program’s emphasis and expertise in balancing both technical skills and soft skills required to succeed in the CPA program. The location of the program also served favourably for me to choose Rotman, as I love the city of Toronto during summer.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

I look forward to being able to integrate everything that I’ve learned in the program and be confident about writing a case.

The Rotman Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA) is a CPA Accredited 12-week summer program that helps prepare you for the Common Final Examination (CFE) and satisfies the four modules of the CPA PEP.
