Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?

The Rotman MMA program provides a comprehensive set of courses on the tools we need to pursue a career in business analytics or data science. For a student with a business background like me, this program would be a great opportunity to build my technical skillset.

The MMA practicum project allows me to apply what I learn in class to real business projects.

Top reason(s) for choosing Rotman:

Classmates, alumni and the whole faculty are always helpful. The people are one of the biggest assets at Rotman. There are also many career resources—from career consultants and the Career Services team to workshops and company events, all of them prepare me to reach the next step of my professional career.

What are you looking forward to the most in the program?

Definitely the practicum. We met the project host and the people on the team who will be working with us, and we discussed how we can proceed with the project. We also had access to the company database and started to learn the tools we will use. There is much space to decide how we would like to conduct our analysis and design our analysis framework.

What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?

Build a stronger technical skillset and business acumen through exposure to different topics in class and the practicum project, and connect with classmates, alumni and business professionals at networking events.
