Why did you decide to study the Master of Management Analytics program?

My interest to pursue Master’s in Management Analytics is primarily influenced by my work experience wherein managing numerous open documents simultaneously and an in-depth study of their contents are not only cumbersome but also increase the possibility of missing out on key information. In addition, daily interactions with the top management of the company indicated that business decisions in new age economic environment and customer behavior are unchartered, unorthodox, and are finding increased reliance on structured data and artificial intelligence for optimization.

What were your top reasons for choosing Rotman?

Rotman’s MMA program is perfectly structured, enabling the students to first become skilled in using the analytical tools and techniques (Fall term) and then learn to apply this knowledge to managerial situations (Spring term). The program is unique, intensive and immersive, thereby, providing a closer glimpse at the modern-day business industry. The faculty at Rotman is not only world-class but also comprises of highly-skilled scholars who have earned wide acclaim for their interdisciplinary insights, tap into their real-world experience to guide students and bring classroom discussions to life. In addition, the fact that my peer group will be so distinct, passionate and extremely competitive, surrounding myself with these brilliant minds will only encourage me to learn, share and collaborate with others using my maximum capability.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

I eagerly look forward to extending my analytical knowledge horizon under the guidance of such esteemed faculty members. Also, I am enthusiastic about the course offerings specifically the Management Analytics Practicum which would enable me to work in diverse teams thereby engaging and solving real-world business problems.
