A lively panel discussion about the trends and lessons in mental health supports, and how businesses can benefit from being proactive on this critical issue.

April 11, 2023, 8:00 am to 10:00 am – Panel Event & breakfast - “The New Normal: How Adaptive Leaders are Supporting Mental Health at Work”

Leaders are increasingly focusing on employee well-being and exploring new ways to strengthen the mental health supports available in the workplace. The pandemic has amplified the need for businesses to ensure their teams are healthy, while also introducing complex new dynamics like work-from-home. In this new landscape, how are managers and executives helping their teams address mental health issues? What strategies are seeing the most success?

Expert panelists will share diverse viewpoints and insights, and bring forward their backgrounds in clinical psychology (Dr. Katy Kamkar, CAMH), human resource and DEI strategies (Thushyan Kayilas, LifeWorks), lived experience with a mental health crisis (Lisa MacLeod, Nepean MPP) and organizational behaviour (Maja Djikic, Rotman School of Management).

Join the Rotman School and the Sandra Rotman Centre for Health Sector Strategy to hear this special panel discuss the trends and lessons in mental health supports, and how businesses can benefit from being proactive on this critical issue.
