Quick info

  • MMA Class of 2022
  • Previous education:
    • Bachelor of Technology – Computer Science & Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, 2020

Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?

Throughout my undergraduate degree and work experience, I always felt I was lacking the understanding of the business context. The MMA provides me with the tools and skill set to be able to understand business problems and leverage my technical skills to be able to apply it and derive value out of data.

Top reason(s) for choosing Rotman:

My top reasons for choosing Rotman include the practicum project, the Rotman network and alumni, and the career prospects. The practicum project gives us the opportunity to work on a hands-on data science project with a practicum host company. It also gives us the chance to network with the companies and employees and learn state-of-the-art data science tools used across different industries. The Rotman network of contacts and alumni is extensive and has a powerful global reach; it was an enticing factor for me while deciding between business schools.

What are you looking forward to the most in the program?

The experiential learning through the practicum projects, case studies, and group work, as well as the interactions with my cohort and learning from Rotman’s world-class faculty.

What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?

Over the next 11 months I hope to gain the necessary skills to bridge the gap between data science and the business context. I believe this program will help me develop the necessary analytical skills and global mindset to make me stand out in a global job market.
